This article is right (well almost).
Many companies profit from “too many volunteers” who don’t even know they produce wealth. At least Wikipedia is non-profit and it has proven to have some quality in the info provided (whereas internet is full of free but low quality information in almost any topic [except info on IT industry (and not science) which is an exception])
